Born in Paddington, moved to Kent, moved to Gloucestershire, (where I started my angling life) moved to Bath, (where first fished for barbel in earnest) moved to Herts/Beds, where I still am. Divorced, have my 2 wonderful children. Get on the river when I can, (not enough), but have caught chub to over 6, pike to over 20, roach to over 2, and boris well into double figures. I set myself no targets, just to enjoy the wonders of our countryside, and being out there.
